Is reporting a healthy June and July following a steady May, with some 109 sales arranged in the last two months, up 32% on last year and ahead of the national trend of 10.6% published by home track. Year to date sales across Mishon Mackay are up 28% on the same period for 2011.

In addition purchasers appear to be motivated to buy which has reflected in viewing numbers being on par with last year, but more buyers appear to be more serious, a greater % of viewings are resulting in sales agreed.

Although the number of houses coming to the market in July was 10% up on last year, the total stock has levelled out following the usual upturn in spring. Prices of properties appear to be stabilising as per the recent report from Nationwide. We are confident for the late summer/autumn market, as many national indicators are going the right way with more than 30 years experience, historically, we sell the greatest number for properties in September/October/November. Our lettings team have enjoyed a boom in rental levels in the past 12 months and we are beginning to see buy to let vendors returning to the market, though it is not easy to arrange funds, there seems to be a confidence in this type of investment.

In addition our land department remains very busy with a number of new development properties now coming to the market, ranging from single plots to strategic land.
