Mishon Mackay gets Pretty Muddy
Pretty Muddy is a 5 or 10K muddy obstacle course that girls (over 13) and women can take part in to raise money for Cancer Research UK. And here at Mishon Mackay, we’re very lucky that our staff love to take part in charity events like this – it’s good fun and even better, it’s for a fantastic cause.
Various Pretty Muddy events took place this weekend, and our Mishon Mackay team were raring to go at Brighton Pretty Muddy 5K in Stanmer Park, Brighton. The start times are in waves for safety reasons and start every 15 minutes.
Our Mishon Mackay team consisted of these lovely ladies from across our offices:
Amie, Jordan, Theresa, Ella, Holly, Brittany, Amy, Maria, Sue, Rachel, and Alex (not pictured) from Mishon Mackay took part in the event.
Speaking about the event, Jordan, Head of Property Management in our Lettings department at Mishon Mackay, said: “Taking part in events like this are such fun, the women are so inspiring and supportive before, during and after the run. Most people taking part know someone who is fighting cancer or have sadly lost someone, so emotions were high at times. We embraced all the obstacles – the highs, lows and the muddy! The sun was shining and it was a hot morning. Despite some of the run being in the gorgeous wooded areas of Stanmer Park, the pools of muddy water were strangely welcomed in the heat.”
Overall, our fantastic team managed to raise around £1100 between them. A big thank you to our incredible staff for taking part in the event, and to colleagues, friends and family for supporting them to raise such an amazing amount.
