Mishon Mackay staff and their families, alongside volunteers from the Brighton & Hove Soirée Rotary Club, spent the day collecting Christmas trees and donations to raise money for the Martlets Hospice, Fareshare, Emmaus, Off the Fence and other Rotary-supported charities.

We were out in full force in West Hove on Sunday, picking up Christmas trees that were no longer needed now the festive period is over. It’s a great way for you to dispose of your tree and give to charity at the same time. You won’t have the hassle of finding pine needles in your car for weeks to come and it’s a better option for the environment too as all the trees collected will be recycled safely into soil, improver or compost.

Speaking about the event, Marc Cox, Sales Director at Mishon Mackay said: “It was such a great turn out and we were really lucky with the weather. We’re really pleased to support our friends at the Rotary club and to help raise some much-appreciated money for local charities. What a great start to the year!”

It was a fantastic day and we collected a whopping £5,764. If you didn’t get to donate on the day, there’s still chance here. A huge thank you to everyone who took part. Make sure you follow us on our Twitter or Facebook to keep up to date with our news and events.
