Our lettings team took part in The Execs Factor over the weekend to help raise over £10,000 for Crohn’s & Colitis UK, The Starr Trust and Overcoming Multiple Sclerosis.
Jordan Mackay, Amie Guirey and Sue Vila took part and performed an unusual mash up of Money, Money, Money by Abba and Material Girl by Madonna, with a speedy costume change between songs.
Jordan Mackay, Head of Property Management said: “It was such a fun night and I’m really proud of my team for taking part. It was nerve-wracking but it was all in the name of charity! Thanks to everyone who came along to support us and to those who donated to these fantastic causes. Hopefully we can make a real difference.”
As well as our lettings department, there were eight acts taking part on the night from local businesses: Mercedes-Benz Brighton, Nick Ford Photo, Clearline Recruitment, Phileas Fogg’s, Face Media Group, Silver Star Cleaning and Focus Group. There was everything from fabulous drag to beautifully choregraphed burlesque. Some of the performers were even brave enough to show real talent and sing their way through their performance – maybe next year for us! The support from people buying tickets was fantastic, with more than 300 guests supporting the evening.
Lisa Seymour and Katie Gibson produced the show whilst James Dempster and Leah Mooney hosted it. At the end of the night, the audience decided who won the competition by donating as much money as they wanted for their chosen act to make it. A big congratulations to the girls from Mercedes-Benz, Brighton who won with their excellent performance of Moulin Rouge. Well done, ladies!
