Each month we like to show you one of our favourite properties – it could be anything from a huge countryside home with acres of land in Mid Sussex to a quirky apartment in the heart of the city. This month, we’re showing you Sussex Square in Brighton which is full of history.
Alexandra Hearn, Branch Manager in our Kemp Town office, said: “I live in this area of Brighton and absolutely love it, with the fantastic choice of beaches, parks and eclectic mix of shops. This exclusive address comes with access to six acres of private gardens – there’s even a tunnel running under the road from the park to the beach!”
This unique home is split level with lots of space and fantastic high ceilings. On the lower ground floor there’s a kitchen, cellar, bathroom, bedroom and two patio areas. Alexandra said: “The apartment itself is exceptionally large and the kitchen and lounge would be a great place to host a party or two!”
On the ground floor there’s a further two bedrooms, one with an en suite, as well as a large reception room.
The current owner said: “My favourite thing about living here is having plenty of space, both indoors and in the gardens. I have great memories of my children growing up here happily and one of the things I’ll miss the most is living in the peaceful surroundings in one of the most beautiful parts of Brighton. I’ve lived here for 39 years – which speaks for itself.”
