The areas surrounding Hove Park, Preston Park and Queens Park have long been popular family areas, all with good access to desirable local schools.

However, you might want to consider your proximity to local bus stops if you expect your children will need to travel to school this way. For example, if you’re considering the Hanover and Kemp Town areas of Brighton, it’s good to note that secondary schools for the area are based towards the Varndean neighbourhood.
