An opportunity has arisen for a Senior Accounts assistant role to work alongside the Finance Director and her team within a busy Accounts Office in Hurstpierpoint.
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Keeping accurate and timely Accounting records, assisting with month end processes including calculating and posting journals
Sales and Creditors Control
Reconciliation of Bank and Cash
Help preparing VAT returns
Assisting with preparation of payroll information and annual returns
Help in producing Management, Annual Accounts and statistics; Liaising with external Accountants
Assistance in various Administrational duties
Skills and Experience
Will suit AAT qualified or ACCA Studier
At least 2 years+ Experience working in an Accounts Office
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Sage Line 50
Experience migrating from a desktop Accounting software package to a cloud-based alternative would be advantageous.
Experience in driving efficiency and changing accounting processes
As the position will involve some travel to the local bank and satellite offices a full driving licence is essential.
