Accounts Assistant

Mishon Mackay Estate and Letting Agents are looking for an Accounts Assistant to join their team in their Preston Park office. Reporting to the Head of Accounts, the position offers a varied role with an opportunity to progress to producing small Management Accounts for companies within the Mishon Mackay group.

The role would suit an AAT studier or someone with 1-2 years experience taking their next step in their accounting career. Experience of using an accounting softare package and excel essential. The successful candidate will need to illustrate proficient reconciliation and poblem solving skills and undetstand concept of double entry bookeeping.

The job role will consist of:

Purchase Ledger Control

Sales Ledger Control

Petty Cash Reconciliations

Credit Card Reconciliations

Bank Reconciliations

Support the finance team with producing the annual accounts

Provide payroll support

Assist with weekly stats reporting

The right candidate will:

·Have a love of problem solving, with good analytical and numerical skills

·Be organised and motivated

·Have an eye for detail

·Be a team player with a can-do attitude

·Have the ability to work using own initiative

·Effective multi-tasking

Desired Skills & Experience:

·Experience of working within a Finance Team in a similar role

.Competence in understanding double entry bookkeeping

·Intermediate Excel Skills

·Sage 50 accounts

·Office 365 skills

·Keen to learn and develop skills

·Proactive and hard working in your approach to work

. Great organisational skills and the ability to work under pressure

Saturday Assistant

Mishon Mackay are looking for a Saturday Assistant to join their busy and successful Lettings team.

Your responsibilities would include but not limited to;

· Undertaking viewings on a range of properties

· Answering client’s questions in person and over the phone

· Providing support to Lettings Negotiators and Branch Manager

· General office duties

Key skills of the ideal candidate:

· Excellent customer service and communication

· Good organisation and timekeeping skills

· Knowledge of the area preferred

· Full driving licence

· Previous experience in the property industry would be a benefit but not essential.

Working hours are every Saturday 9.00am-5.00pm.
