‘Gaps-can you feel it?’

Thursday night saw the debut of our very own Jordan Mackay from our Property Management department in the “gaps can you feel it” production of Little Red Riding Hood.

‘Gaps-can you feel it?’ started out as Gatwick Airport Pantomime Society (G.A.P.S) and was made up of enthusiastic cabin crew who wanted to put on a great show!

Over the years, the cast grew and started to perform to audiences that filled The Hawth Theatre in Crawley. The one thing that set G.A.P.S apart from other amateur dramatic societies was their commitment to charity. For 21 years, G.A.P.S was registered in its own right and donated all it’s profits to other local causes. It raised over £250,000 and supported countless projects across the South East. In addition, every year, local charities were invited to watch the dress rehearsal, free of charge. This provided many families and children the opportunity of watching a pantomime, something many of them would never have had the chance to do.

This years production has committed its proceeds to the children’ Unit at East Surrey Hospital in Redhill.

On Friday night 10 mishon mackay staff went and saw Jordan take to the stage and give an incredible performance as Billy the stories hero who saves Red from the Big Bad Wolf. Audience participation was of course required and we all partook in the rendition of “Who’s Afraid Of The Big Bad Wolf” led by the extremely funny three little pigs and included some very simple dance moves.

All in all a great event for a fantastic cause.

Well done Jordan we are all very very proud of you.LRRH2
