Preston Park station provides easy access to both Gatwick and Luton airports, as well as East Croydon, London Victoria and London Blackfriars for easy access to London in just over an hour. As an added bonus, central Brighton is just 4 minutes away by train! This is a great area for London commuters who love the vibrant, cosmopolitan life but also enjoy a little peace and quiet.
Just a 25-minute walk to Brighton Station, Kemptown is the ideal spot for commuters who love to be in the heart of the city. With a unique blend of exciting shops, eateries and artists, there’s always something going on in this busy and bustling area.
Seven Dials has long been a favourite property destination for a number of buyers. A lively area full of individual businesses, Seven Dials is a great place to be to feel truly at the heart of Brighton and Hove. The nearest station to Seven Dials is Brighton Station, which is just an 11-minute walk away and provides excellent services to and from London.
Brighton’s smaller, but by no means lesser, cousin, Hove is yet another commuter hotspot, and has been named a top property area for young professionals consistently. Poets Corner consistently offers great opportunities for home buyers and is perfect for those who love being involved in an active community life. A great area for commuters, both Hove and Aldrington Stations are just a short walk away.
Aldrington is one of Hove’s more prosperous residential areas, being characterised by tree-lined streets and some impressive sea views. Aldrington boasts its own station, making it incredibly easy to commute to and from the capital.
More than just your average suburb, much of Hangleton was built in the ‘30s and the area still retains some of its unique period character. Whilst it’s a little further out from train stations – Hove Station is around a 40-minute walk – it’s got great bus links to get you from A to B.
Another smaller section of Brighton with a distinctly village feel, Portslade is a brilliant area for London commuters who prefer their home to be away from the hustle and bustle of city life. Portslade Station itself is fairly central and within walking distance of most residential roads, and offers great links to London Victoria and London Bridge, as well as easy access to its busier Brighton and Hove neighbours.
