Mishon Mackay supports Rockinghorse

Mishon Mackay staff visited The Royal Alexandra Children’s Hospital to hand over a cheque for Rockinghorse Children’s Charity.  You might remember a few weeks back that Mishon Mackay held its annual Glenn Mishon Charity Golf Day and raised over £3,000 for the charity, which helps improve the lives of sick children in Sussex. The money is going towards their ventilator appeal for the High Dependency Unit.

Alice Pashley, a play team specialist, kindly showed us around the hospital, explaining the facilities that are there for the children who come in. There are toys, a school room, and pull out beds for parents to sleep in so that the children and their families can try and have as much normality as possible. The Sea Life Centre even teamed up with the charity to create a sea life-themed sensory room.

Marc Cox, Director of residential sales at Mishon Mackay said: “The Glenn Mishon Charity Golf Day was a huge success and it was great to see so many companies across Sussex come together in memory of Glenn to support such a worthy charity. Visiting the Royal Alexandra Children’s Hospital and seeing where the money raised will be spent was really eye opening. We’re so glad that we could help out and we’re pleased to continue supporting Rockinghorse.”
