Meet the Team: Amy Newman

11/09/2018

Today, we meet Amy, our Sales Negotiator at our Hove office. Amy has been working in the property industry for six years and has a passion for everything coastal property related! Starting her career in the animal care industry, Amy soon found she wanted to explore her interest in property, quickly finding herself at Mishon Mackay and has been part of our team ever since! As a Sales Negotiator, Amy can be seen out and about at property viewings, as well as spending lots of time catching up with clients and the team in the Hove office.

What do you love most about property?

I’ve always had an interest in property – some of my family have enjoyed long careers in estate agency. One of the most enjoyable parts of the job at Mishon Mackay is getting to view such a wide variety of homes across Hove – from large detached family homes in Hove Park to smaller period apartments by the sea. It’s great to see the different interiors and styles that owners go for.

Tell us about your dream home

My ideal home would be somewhere in the countryside, with a small bit of land so I could have my own smallholding. I love the city atmosphere, but most enjoy being out in the countryside with my dogs.

How did you get started in property?

I started in property around six years ago as a Junior Negotiator. I soon realised how much I enjoyed the buzz of a sales environment and finding people their dream home. After learning the ropes at a smaller independent agency in the city, I was keen to join a bigger and more established company with such a great reputation and was fortunate enough to be offered a place as part of the team at Mishon Mackay.

Amy is a conscientious and extremely hardworking member of the team here at Hove. She takes the pace of events in this busy branch in her stride and can adapt to a wide variety of tasks. Amy is completely committed to achieving the best possible result for our clients. If you’d like to find out more about which properties Hove has to offer, visit our website.
