Rottingdean Cricket Club 1st XI is promoted

03/09/2018

Over the last year Mishon Mackay has been working alongside Rottingdean Cricket Club whose teams play in the East Sussex cricket league.

In our first year of partnership with the club, the 1st XI team gained promotion and the juniors won the Sussex Under 14s Bowl Final. During this time, Rottingdean Cricket Club put out four Saturday teams, continued to expand its junior section and held a selection of friendly fixtures for all ages and abilities.

On Saturday, the 1st XI team played Cuckfield Cricket Club and won the game. 1st XI captain Jack Cox said: “I’m thrilled to gain promotion in my first season as captain. The success was built on the strength and depth within the club and the very talented pool of younger players moving up from the junior section.” Jack hopes that the continued long-term partnership with Mishon Mackay will help the club deliver its ambitious plans for the future.

Tina Templeman, Branch Director at our Rottingdean office said, “We think it’s really important to support the local community and we love working alongside Rottingdean Cricket Club. Members of staff have watched them play and it’s great to get out and meet people from the community we work in.”
