What the owners says;
After over 20 years in Brighton I know that I will miss a bunch of things. I will miss the feeling of being on holiday when you smell the sea even if you are just on a break or just finished work. I will miss the vibrant seafront with street entertainers, music from the bars, restaurants and cafes mixed in with kids play and sports and small shops in the arches. I will miss the very near proximity to all sorts of entertainments, shows, parties, concerts and other events.
The thing I will miss the very most is the Live and let live attitude where everything goes. There are not many places where no one reacts to a gentleman with a long beard and a ballerina skirt walking by. Well, maybe a giggle ðŸ~Š!
I have also very much enjoyed the location where I do not even have to leave the flat to watch majority of the street events as they have passed by on my doorstep. There are usually a range of events passing by like Pride, at least one local and one London to Brighton marathon, The Brighton naked bike ride and the London to Brighton Veteran car run. Other events and festivals are in very short distance at the Level or on one of the green spaces along Valley Gardens, currently being worked on to make the spaces greener and better for on foot and on bike traffic. A new Plaza is also coming in front of St Peters Church.
All you need for shopping including groceries is so close that unless you need the car for work you really do not need one here. All the major supermarkets are also offering delivery service.
